The Hurley Tiger Sharks

The Hurley Tiger Shark is part of the DUSO Summer Swim League. The league consists of 8 local swim teams, and the swim meets are held in July on Wednesday and Saturday. The Championship meet finishes the season at the end of July / early August. 

It is a fun, fast season with the focus on fun! It is also a recreational league - meaning that although there are experienced competitive swimmers, it is also appropriate for new swimmers of all ages. As a bonus, the conditioning gained from competitive swimming is second to none and a game-changer for all kids, whether they're involved in other sports or not.

Some other fantastic things about our team:

• Practice up to two hours a day

• Intensive stroke work pre-season during Mid-June practices, with ongoing stroke work throughout the season

• Social events, including breakfasts and swimming for local charities

• Team spirit and camaraderie are valued and prioritized, while also being competitive with other teams (place 3rd in the 2025 DUSO Championship meet)

• Experienced coaches and support from fellow parents
