Hurley Recreation Association is excited to announce that we’ve built 6 brand-new, tournament-quality pickleball courts and are exploring ways they might be made available to the surrounding pickleball community.

These new courts have been built from the ground up with player comfort and performance in mind. The courts feature a new asphalt surface with a professional multi-layer cushioning system designed to reduce stress on joints and provide a more comfortable playing experience. They’re finished with Laykold, the same premium court surface used at the US Open and many major pickleball tournaments, providing excellent traction, consistent ball bounce, and outstanding playability. The courts also include generous spacing between courts and behind the baselines to provide a safer and more enjoyable playing environment.

Hurley Rec is currently a private, membership-based facility. Access is limited to seasonal members and their guests. At this time, non-members cannot purchase independent access to the facilities.

As we explore this exciting opportunity, we’d like to hear from the local pickleball community. This survey is intended for pickleball players who are not currently Hurley Rec members. Your feedback will help us evaluate potential access options, pricing, court reservations, open play, leagues, tournaments, lessons, clinics, and other programming.

Your responses will play an important role in helping us determine how these new courts can best serve both the pickleball community and Hurley Recreation Association.
